PARLIAMENTARY DEBATES

Parliamentary debates provide a structured platform for legislators to discuss policies, propose laws, and hold governments accountable. They foster democratic decision-making, transparency, and public engagement in governance.

The CMH Debating Club proudly presents its first-ever parliamentary debating competition, CPDC ‘25 (CMH Parliamentary Debating Championship 2025). This groundbreaking event will bring together skilled debaters to engage in high-level discourse, tackling complex issues with logic, strategy, and persuasion.

Asian Parliamentary Debate (APD) is a dynamic debate format simulating parliamentary discourse. It features government and opposition teams engaging in structured arguments, rebuttals, and critical analysis within set time limits. Participants develop persuasive reasoning, research skills, and strategic argumentation.

More than just a competition, CPDC ‘25 is a platform for intellectual growth, fostering critical discourse, leadership, and a tradition of excellence in debating.
