National Crisis Cell
The National Crisis Cell (NCC) is an ad-hoc committee formed by the Prime Minister to coordinate the response to natural disasters. This specialized committee brings together key government officials, representatives from various ministries, military personnel, and experts in disaster management, health, and logistics. The agenda highlights an urgent national emergency that has disrupted lives, livelihoods, and infrastructure across Pakistan. The monsoon season of 2022 brought unprecedented rainfall, resulting in widespread flooding that demands immediate and coordinated action. A collection of serving and retired officers from all levels of government will be represented solely in a disaster management role. The NCC approaches this challenge with determination, collaboration, and a commitment to resilience, ensuring that the actions taken today lay the foundation for a secure and sustainable future.
